As part of our ongoing commitment to building leadership capacity and fostering independence, we are hosting a Regional Oncology College Meeting on November 7–8, 2025, at Highlands Oncology Group.

Clinical and administrative leaders from around the country will join colleagues from Highlands Oncology for high-impact, practice-focused training in an intimate setting, closer to the clinical environment.

Former President at American Medical Association

Dr. McAneny has been an oncologist and private practice owner for 30 years, dedicating the last 25 years to health policy and leadership. Early in her professional career, she recognized that doctors working together have the power to change the world. She believes that change comes through collaboration with doctors, lawmakers, patients, and employers to develop initiatives and priorities that enable everyone to live a full and complete life.

Dr. McAneny is experienced and well-versed in the business of medicine within a highly regulated environment. She possesses the expertise to help new physicians, practice owners, and hospital doctors understand and manage the intricacies of the modern healthcare system. He actively identifies best practices and shares them with other doctors to enhance patient care, making it more effective, personally fulfilling, and profitable.

As CEO of Highlands of Oncology in NW Arkansas, Jeff Hunnicutt has demonstrated a passion for creating a work environment where people are engaged and energized to provide outstanding patient care. Specializing in comparative analytics in oncology, Jeff has helped drive the success of his practice by providing an in-depth look into the underlying data that helps give direction to operational decisions. Jeff has been distinguished for his efforts by participating on the Board of Trustees and being recognized as a service fellow for ACCC, serving as ACS Chair in NW Arkansas, participating on the CMMI OCM Redesign team with the Community Oncology Alliance (COA) as well as the Value Based Care Reform group with Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), and in his previous role as Executive Director of the Quality Cancer Care Alliance (QCCA).

In his personal life, Jeff is married with 4 children, living in Bentonville, AR. He and his family are deeply involved in projects to bring quality education to the remote areas of Senegal, Africa, and toward raising awareness for the foster system in their state.
