Joseph K. Hofmeister, MD

Dr. Joseph K. Hofmeister is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. In 1989, he graduated from Villanova University, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. In 1994 he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School with his M.D. He completed his Residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1997. He completed his Fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology from the Ohio State University in June 2000. He is Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology and has a deep passion for patient care and education. He is the current Chief Medical Officer and President at Columbus Oncology & Hematology. He is married to Dr. Marietta Hofmeister and has four children, three daughters, Brigitte, Abby, and Isabelle and a son, Theodor.
